Description: Coarse sand with flint gravel and intercalated clayey layers. This unit is preserved at the Middle terrace level (at about 20m above the main river in the reference area).
Stratotype: Meulebeke - Hulsvelde.
Area: Schelde basin.
Thickness: Less than 1m.
Age: Middle Pleistocene.
