New geological and hydrogeological model for the Flemish Region

VPO and VMM have presented a new geological and hydrogeological model for the subsurface of the Flemish Region, made by VITO. For the first time these models are compatible and use the same basis. The new model is an update of the previous hydrogeological model of 2007 and geological 3D-model of 2013. The new model is available on the DOV website at www.dov.vlaanderen.be, and was presented at the DOV worksop on 13/12/2019.
